Onitama is a two-player abstract strategy game that offers a unique design of strategic choices for players to learn, combine and employ. Played on a 5 x 5 grid, Onitama’s fast paced style sees players attempting to capture their opponent’s primary pawn or secure victory by moving one of their own pieces into their opponent’s primary starting space. Implementing a unique and minimalistic use of movement rules for pawns, players will need to plan multiple moves ahead in order to outwit their opponent and win the game.
